Hideo Yokokawa
He was born in Nagano Prefecture
on July 11, 1942. He graduated Takasaki City University of Economics. Living very closely to the residence of Shipei Kusano, he studied the spirit of poetry from Shinpei. His poem "An Afterimage" won the  top award of the the 1999 poetry contest of National Library of Poetry, USA. He has been introduced in the PBS TV twice in 2000 as a Japanese poet and translator. He lives with his cat in Higashimurayama, Tokyo.

 Yumiko Kawakami
She is Geatest Master of Ikuta Koto.  She graduated Tokyo University of the Arts in 1964 and finished NHKJapanese Music Player Course in 1965. Also, she won the prize of 1967 Ethnic Music Competition at Sofia, Bulgaria. She played koto at many places in Bulgaria, Romania and Soviet Union. She taught music at Yokohama National University from 1991 until 2002. She played koto in many places in Italy, France, Germany, England and South Korea in 1998. Many records, CDfs, DVDfs have been published. She lives in Tokyo.

.Jessica Helen Lopez
She was born in Paramount, CA,
USA.  She resides iAlbuquerque, NM with her daughter and is pursuing a degree in creative writing from the University of New Mexico. She is an award-winning performance poet. She facilitates spoken word performances and poetry workshops for youth and adult writers/performers. She has been the Poet-In-Residence in several New Mexico High Schools and continues her work in the classroom.

. Shinzan Otoguro

He is Greatest Master, Tozan Shakuhachi.@He graduated Tokyo@Denki University@in 1960, and in the same year, graduated NHK Japanese Music School. He studied music composition and theory from Akihiro Norimatsu.  He is the producer of gThe Mongolian Ethnic Instrument Orchestra in Collaboration with Poetry Readingh held by Japanese government celebrating Mongolia-Japan 40th Anniversary at the several major cities this autumn.


Aftab Seth
He was born in Patna Bihar, India on September 17, 1943. M.A. from Oxford University. Doctorate of laws, American College of Greece He has been former Ambassador of India to Japan. Then, he has been a former Professor/Director Global Security Research Institute, Keio University. He is now Honorary President tor English Speaking Union of Japan and Chairman of Japan India Partnership Forum He understands Japanese, Vietnamese, German, Indonesian, French besides English as well as Hindustani.

 Tpmpko Mano
She
graduated Musashino Womanfs University. She is Reading Adviser for Publishing Culture Industry Progression Foundation. She has been a member of Higashimurayama Reading Society for 17 years. She is teaching in the lessons of elementary/junior high/high schools the importance of life, telling stories by picture cards. She also plays ventriloquism and puppet. She belongs to the local chorus group.

 

Aiko Iezuka

She was born in Saitama and grew up in Tokyo, She graduated Tokyo Dai 4 Commercial High School. She is a freelance actress of theater and TV. She also belongs Higashimurayama Reading Society as a volunteer. She teaches shamisen and kouta (traditional Japanese music).

Kyoko Takirai
She graduated Waseda
University, where she studied the national linguistics. She has been a teacher of elementary schools for 30 years. She lives now in Higashimurayama with her husband, She belongs to the reading society for aged persons and the visually impaired in cooperation with the city library She is teaching readings for Broadcasting Expression Education Center.
